Adam Taich

Chief Business Officer

Adam Taich joined SomaLogic in 2021 as Chief Business Officer. He has over 20 years of experience in the Life Sciences and Healthcare markets. His career has spanned a diverse set of roles, including general management, commercial, finance and corporate development.

Most recently, Mr. Taich served as Vice President and General Manager of the Molecular Biology business of Thermo Fisher. In this role, Mr. Taich was instrumental in standing up the company’s response to supply of critical raw materials for COVID-19 diagnostics and vaccines. While at Thermo Fisher, he also led the Protein and Cell Analysis business, Strategy and Corporate Development for the Life Sciences Group, Global Service and Support (Field Service Engineering, Field Application Scientists, Technical Support, Customer Care and Sales) and a variety of finance leadership roles earlier in his career.

He was deeply involved in many of the large and small M&A transactions over his tenure, including leading critical integration workstreams. Mr. Taich joined Thermo Fisher via the acquisition of Life Technologies, which was formed through the acquisition of Applied Biosystems a few years after he joined Invitrogen Corp in 2004.

Prior to Thermo Fisher, Mr. Taich was an investment banker in the New York offices of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (acquired by Credit Suisse).

Mr. Taich received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University in Oxford, OH.
