Plasma Proteomics and AI: Redefining Precision Oncology
Yehonatan Elon, PhD
Chief Technology Officer
OncoHost
The intricate interplay between therapy, tumor biology, and host response demands a more holistic approach to biomarker development in oncology as traditional strategies often fall short in capturing this complexity. In contrast, blood-based proteomic profiling offers a systems-level view of the biological landscape, reflecting the dynamic interactions that ultimately drive treatment outcomes. Yet, translating this richness into clinically actionable insights requires overcoming significant analytical and biological challenges.
In this session, Dr. Elon will explore the key barriers to developing robust, clinically meaningful biomarkers for treatment guidance, and how these challenges are being addressed through the PROphet® platform. By combining deep plasma proteomic profiling with advanced machine learning, PROphet enables the prediction of both treatment efficacy and toxicity, supporting more informed decision-making across multiple cancer types, including NSCLC, melanoma, and RCC.
Attendees will gain both strategic insights and a behind-the-scenes perspective on how this integrated approach transforms a single blood sample into a comprehensive clinical decision-support tool, ultimately enabling physicians to make more informed, confident, and personalized treatment decisions.
